Beyond what3words being used by festivals and venues for anything from event coordination to visitors’ safety, bands like Imagine Dragons and Mumford & Sons have also used what3words previously for treasure hunts.

And in the last few days, Iron Maiden and Nothing But Thieves fans have been getting very excited after the bands posted cryptic messages on Twitter. Are these what3words-related? All will be revealed soon…

Something particularly close to my heart: today marks the launch of the Tech Zero taskforce.

We join forces with some of the most exciting and innovative UK tech companies - including Bulb, Starling, Moneysupermarket, Babylon, etc. - to tackle the climate crisis.

We will work on accelerating progress to net zero by helping companies to set an ambitious climate action plan, establishing the UK as the number 1 destination for green investment, and helping consumers make eco-friendly choices.

Vodafone and Monzo also joined the taskforce today and we have a big ambition to sign up 1,000 new members by #COP26.
