I would love to encourage the use of what3words as the addresses for the local council significant tree registers. I'm not sure what happens in other States but in Victoria the significant tree register in largely a cumbersome document that is not user friendly.
It could be so much better if it was based on what3words. A finder of a significant tree can photograph the tree with the w3w address and its significance can be confirmed by the registrar from the photo or a direct inspection using the w3w address. The Significant Tree Register can be a document with photographs of the tree with the w3w address to make visiting the tree easy for anyone. What do others think???
