I am keen to know how recent your photographic maps are ? Do you use Google Earth? Can you tell me how recent the aerial photographic map is of Buckland Newton Dorset?

Hi Helen, The house I live in is 5yrs old, I’ve lived here since it was built and my house isn’t on the map, it’s still showing as an empty field, so I wouldn’t think that they’re updated ofte.

Since what3words is not a mapping app, our grid is overlaid onto existing maps. We're not able to update this as our maps are provided by either Google Maps, Apple Maps or Mapbox depending on your device. You can see which by checking the icon on the bottom left of the screen.

You can report map errors by using the links below and hopefully they'll update it soon 🙌
